Sectrs is a detailed, layered digital painting by John Greene built from curved, overlapping shapes that fracture across the canvas in a mosaic-like grid. The forms interlock and bleed into one another with a loose, watercolour quality — structured enough to feel considered, but fluid enough to keep it lively.

The palette is more subtle than much of Greene's work — soft greys, muted teals and sage greens form the base, with vivid bursts of magenta, orange-red and sharp yellow breaking through in unexpected places. The gritty, stippled texture throughout adds a raw quality that stops it feeling too polished.
