…contemporary digital artist John Greene to Artienda’s clients and followers. Through the digital manipulation of his photographic catalogue, John creates unique and eye-catching art. He loves colour, patterns and quirkiness. He always keeps a camera close at hand wherever he goes to capture everything from the smallest detail of a plant to the largest shapes created by architecture.
John is inspired by…
… both nature and man-made structures. Through the use of layering, he builds up imaginative textures and creates striking new shapes in his artwork. He picked up a digital camera in 2010 and has been experimenting ever since. John’s work has been shortlisted in several photographic competitions, most notably being highly commended three times in the ‘British Life Photography Awards’ in 2015 and 2016. On both occasions his images were exhibited at the Mall Galleries in central London and subsequently included in their published portfolio book for both years. In November 2023, John had two of his artworks shortlisted in the annual ING Discerning Eye art show.
